Tim Sherman has been teaching guitar and helping students improve since 1987. In addition to private instruction Tim has conducted big band blues ensembles for high school and junior college through Seattle Performing Arts.
In addition to teaching Tim has won numerous awards from the Washington Blues Society for his blues guitar playing and recordings. He has been a professional musician for over thirty years.
Tim recognizes every student has a unique way of learning and tailors his guitar lessons to fit individual learning abilities--no cookie cutter methods. Beginners on the guitar are always welcome, and the emphasis is on teaching the student through the music he or she enjoys most--so practicing and improving on the guitar is fun!!
