Drop-In Lessons & Jam Sessions

Think You're Too Busy For Lessons?

We understand.

That's why we've introduced drop-in sessions.

Jam Sessions & Workshops!

Ideal for the busy music student/player. Especially adults and those who'd like an occasional refresher course. Or just a chance to have a structured jam session with other musicians. This is a whole new concept in music lessons.  So if you're unable to commit to a regular lesson appointment schedule, just check here to see or even request what's being taught in the weeks to come. Drop in classes are designed to help busy people learn and play without the strict time commitment of weekly, one on one music lessons. And with sessions starting at 10 bucks a pop it's super cheap too! But these sessions can fill up in a hurry so it's a good idea to reserve a spot.

These are full band focused events.

Singers are welcomed & encouraged to attend!

Blues + Rock = "Block" Jam
Fridays 8:00 - 10:00pm
$10

The Spotlight Blues Jam has been a hit for the past couple of years takes but lately it's been begging for a change. So we're going to be sprinkling in a fair amount of classic rock tunes at each jam. These jams are great for early to intermediate players but advanced players are always welcome and we have overflow rooms if the jam becomes too large or if becomes neccessary for two levels to emerge.

If you're used to the bar jams where you only get to play 2-3 tunes a night then you'll quickly see the value of Spotlight's Jams. Most participants will get to play almost 100% of each session!

"This was the most fun I have ever had playing guitar. That might not sound like much from a guy that doesn’t know how to play [much], but to be able to get together with a group of people that can play, and to be allowed to be involved, really makes it a lot more fun to try to learn. I really hope you will continue to do this on Fridays. It is an absolute blast."
